Eyemiru is a Japanese brand offering a complete eye care solution with Eyemiru Drops and Eyemiru Wash, designed to cleanse and nourish the eyes with essential vitamins.
For Q3 2023, we launched a 3-month campaign (July–September) built around the key message:
"THE EXTRAORDINARY EYES OVERCOME UNPREDICTABLE SEASON, thanks to EYEMIRU"
The campaign focused on key hook activity that reinforced this message, seamlessly continuing activation office tour while driving website traffic. By combining offline engagement with digital strategies, we aimed to highlight Eyemiru’s role in keeping eyes fresh, clear & ready for anything—no matter the season.

To bring Extraordinary Eyes to life, we created a fun, adorable, and engaging character—a humanized pair of eyes—making the concept more relatable and memorable.
Using a 2D cartoon style, we kept the visuals expressive yet simple for strong brand recognition. The flat 2D motion animation ensures smooth transitions and dynamic storytelling, reflecting Eyemiru’s refreshing and effortless eye care experience.
To make the Eye character more recognizable across the Eyemiru's page, we incorporated it into daily social posts, using it to create engaging and relatable content.
To highlight Eyemiru’s benefits during unpredictable seasons and drive website traffic, Eyemiru Vietnamese launched an interactive landing page with fun & educational social contest.

The game attracts users with valuable eye care tips, a simple gameplay experience, and exciting daily rewards, making learning about eye health both engaging and rewarding.
To highlight Eyemiru’s benefits during unpredictable seasons, we launched the "Unpredictable Season Forecast" series, addressing common eye concerns & encouraging healthy habits. Each post is carefully timed to match real-time weather conditions, creating relevant, interactive content that boosts engagement. The series maintains visual consistency by incorporating the Extraordinary Eyes character from the video campaign, ensuring a cohesive brand presence throughout.
The Offline Activation Tour brought Eyemiru’s eye care message to life through an interactive experience. By adapting the Landing Page game, users learned practical eye care tips while engaging with the brand. Participants received seasonal essentials like anti-dust glasses, umbrellas, and neck pillows. Additionally, those who checked in at the activation booth on Facebook could claim an Eyemiru voucher as an extra reward.
The main challenge I faced was understanding the idea behind the team's proposal and developing a character inspired by the pixelated Snake game. A few takeaways were:
For an inspiring character, leverage the elements associated with it.
Always keep the product in mind: Can it be incorporated into the character? From this, I chose the green color palette from the new product line for the character.
Ensure there’s a valid reason for every element of the character.
As an intern designer, this was both a challenge and a valuable learning opportunity to observe how a proposal is created.
